What are your teachers' qualifications?
|
In addition to the Singapore Ministry of Education teaching certification and approval, all our English teachers hold degrees from reputable universities, colleges or institutions. Our teachers are carefully screened by our Human Resources Department Head Office in Taipei and our Singapore school principal. Successful applicants then receive comprehensive in house training from our Training and Development Centre in Taipei. Our rigorous selection and training Programme helps us ensure that we are providing our learners with the quality instruction that has made our name famous.

Lorraine Foo
Deputy Centre Manager
LCCI Private Secretary and Business Administration
|
My name is Lorraine Foo, a true blue Singaporean. As someone who had been through the SG education system and have 3 children of my own, I have always been interested in the education and enrichment scene in Singapore.
After finishing my studies, I have worked with multinational corporations in manufacturing, business administration and service industries until I joined HESS in 2005.
I have learned a lot from experienced HESS teachers and benefitted from HESS trainings conducted regularly. I love working with all children but have a soft spot for younger students.

Tanya Morunga

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology Victoria University
|
My name is Tanya Morunga, and I’m from New Zealand. I have been working in education with kids for more than five years including one year here in Singapore.
I have always been interested in Education and its many facets. It was at university, where I developed a love for understanding the mind and how it develops.
After university, I spent four years in Taiwan teaching for HESS and learning about a different culture. HESS has taught me a lot and given me many chances to develop and grow, not only as teacher but as a head teacher too.
