Rayann was born in Canada then immigrated to Australia as a child. She has just completed her BA Acting Hons at LASALLE College of the Arts. She divides her time between acting, directing and teaching. In 2008 she directed Somewhere Between the Sky and the Sea for the Short and Sweet play festival, which won the overall peoples choice award. She recently appeared in The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch for iTheatre.

Rayann has been at Hess for a number of years now and she particularly enjoys her Creative Writing class where she encourages her students to have fun with their ideas and creating performances during holiday program.

In her spare time she enjoys swimming, reading and cooking. She has become increasingly interested in directing and hopes to pursue a post graduate course in this area.
