At kindergarten and primary levels homework is likely to be assigned. This homework is assigned to help students practice what was taught, review new information or prepare for the next lesson. It hasn't been assigned to punish a student or to merely give them extra work. It allows them to spend some time with the language outside of the classroom. If you feel it is too much homework, or too little, PLEASE speak to the teacher. They will be happy to adjust to your expectations of necessary language outside of the classroom. |

The best thing to do in this situation is to speak to the teacher. Let the teacher know what the problem is and discuss it with them. Our teachers are experienced and professional. They will make every effort to try to resolve any concerns. |

Games and activities are proven teaching techniques that help students acquire more knowledge, learn faster and develop an interest in studying. Games are not played for the sake of playing games. Each game a teacher uses is teaching an important element of the lesson. Games and activities are effective motivators that create an element of excitement and fun in the classroom. |

Yes, if the teacher incorporates it into the class after considering the theme of the lesson. Rhythm is a core element on our teaching method as we feel learners are naturally drawn to and stimulated by rhythm. We currently do not offer classes that are solely taught by a music instructor. |

Yes. The teacher will take into consideration the nature of the art and crafts project to ensure that they are age and ability appropriate. Projects that are suited to the Arts Room will be taught there, others may be taught within the familiar environment of the classroom.

Our spacious school offers safe, interactive play areas, a Dress-Up Drama Room, Arts Studio, Creative Writing Room, Learners' Lending Library, Reading Corner and a Stage area. Our students have the opportunity to be taught, or have parts of lessons taught, in these various rooms and areas. |

Yes, our teachers incorporate dress-up dramas into lessons to teach key sentence patterns and conversations. Dressing up and acting helps build confidence, creates a fun learning atmosphere and motivates students to work with their classmates. |

We do not encourage or discourage parents staying in the classroom for our Nursery classes. However, it is our duty as educators to give students the best opportunities to develop and learn. Students left solely in the care of the teacher develop greater self-awareness and independence. This in turn helps them focus more in class, increasing their learning capacity. This is also a great opportunity for parents to begin preparing their children for the problematic separation period that will occur when they begin all day school. Parents can be assured that they are leaving their child in the capable, caring hands of a teacher concerned primarily with the needs of their students. |

No, we do not require that Nursery students be potty trained. However, a parent or primary caregiver is required to be on hand to deal with those little accidents. Our teachers will not object to parents or primary caregivers entering the classroom.

Enrichment programmes are designed to improve students language skills. These skills include reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation and understanding. Our Enrichment programmes also develop a students’ confidence in speaking a language, help build social skills as they interact with classmates and the teacher, inspire creative thinking and promote problem solving. |
