Chuck is one of my classmates in junior high school. He was very heavy one year ago, but he looks very different now. I'd like to share his experience of losing weight with you.

        Thomas A. Edison was a great inventor. One day he stood by a strange-looking machine. He said the words “Mary had a little lamb”in front of the machine. Something marvelous happened─the machine talked back! The first phonograph was then invented.

        Putting on too much weight made him sick. One day, the doctor told John that he would need a special coffin soon if he didn't start to lose weight. John was scared so he started to go on a diet and do exercises. However, it was very difficult for him to keep dieting and exercising. John thought of giving up. Then, he met a pretty woman, Marian. Marian told John not to stop his diet, so John decided to continue. After he lost 180 kilos in 18 months, he became a new man. Best of all, he married Marian.
